Job Summary:
We are looking for skilled Ductmen to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing and maintaining HVAC ductwork systems on-site. This role involves ensuring all duct installations are performed according to project specifications, safety standards, and within project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC duct systems, including ducts, fittings, and vents.
- Read and interpret HVAC drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Ensure duct installations are completed according to design specifications and building codes.
- Assist in the assembly, alignment, and sealing of ductwork on-site.
- Ensure all HVAC ducts are installed properly and securely, minimizing leaks and ensuring efficiency.
- Perform tests and inspections of the ductwork to ensure proper functioning.
- Coordinate with other team members and trades to ensure the timely completion of HVAC installation tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to safety protocols.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to the Site Supervisor and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of duct materials and tools.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or relevant certification in HVAC or duct installation.
- Experience in ductwork installation.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC duct systems, installation methods, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC and ductwork drawings.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in challenging environments.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
