About the Role
We are seeking a professional and responsible Driver – Light Vehicle to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a crucial member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely operating light vehicles to transport passengers or deliver goods within the city and surrounding areas.
Operate light vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
Transport passengers or deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner
Plan and optimize routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure efficient travel
Conduct basic vehicle inspections and perform routine maintenance checks
Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and any incidents or delays
Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or goods when necessary
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all passengers
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members
Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or traffic violations promptly
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior
What do we need from you
Valid UAE driving license with a clean driving record
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a light vehicle driver
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent knowledge of Dubai’s road network and traffic patterns
Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems
Strong time management and organizational skills
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Physical ability to assist with loading and unloading when required
Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations
