Job Description
Safely operate light vehicles for the timely transportation of goods or passengers while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal working conditions and report any maintenance needs promptly.
Manage route planning and navigation using GPS systems to enhance efficiency and reduce delivery times.
Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules to provide comprehensive reports to management.
Assist in loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling practices to prevent damage or injury.
Adhere to all health and safety standards, ensuring a safe environment for yourself and others on the road.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or transportation is a plus.
Valid driver’s license with the appropriate class for light vehicles, and any necessary endorsements.
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic repair skills to handle minor issues on the road.
Proficient in using GPS and navigation systems to ensure efficient route planning.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
