Job Detail
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated English Teacher to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and help to enhance the experience of the students at South View School. You will be joining a team where students are at the heart of all we do. The formal curriculum is supported by a very active enrichment programme to develop the love of literature and language learning.
The ideal candidate will:
Demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning.
Have experience in teaching English at GCSE and A Level
Have a proven track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning.
Have very strong pastoral skills and experience in supporting students.
Use data effectively to support student learning and progress.
Have an understanding of how to support students with additional needs.
Have a willingness to lead and participate in, enrichment activities to support the teaching and learning of English.
Hold a recognised degree with a recognised teaching qualification.
Be invested in self-improvement though engagement with the broad spectrum of CPD options available at South View School.
