Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsperson with strong experience in interior design and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, shop drawings, and detailed construction documentation for interior and fit-out works, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for interior and fit-out projects
- Interpret architectural and interior design concepts into precise technical drawings
- Coordinate with designers, project managers, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy
- Modify and update drawings based on site conditions and client requirements
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, local regulations, and authority standards
- Assist in material detailing, joinery drawings, and FF&E coordination
- Maintain proper documentation and revision control of drawings
- Support project execution by providing technical clarification when required
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in interior fit-out drafting
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (required); knowledge of Revit or other BIM tools is an advantage
- Experience in joinery, interior detailing, and fit-out projects (retail, commercial, residential)
- Strong understanding of construction details, materials, and finishes
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of UAE fit-out standards and authority approvals
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Salary
