Role Description The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate engineering and layout drawings for oil & gas projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in technical drafting and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar) and the ability to produce accurate 2D/3D drawings and layouts.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards relevant to EPC and CP projects.
- Attention to detail in checking, updating, and revising drawings to ensure compliance, clarity, and constructability.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, project managers, and site teams.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical or a related engineering/technical discipline.
- Experience in EPC, infrastructure, or industrial projects; exposure to cathodic protection or corrosion-related projects is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple drawing assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain organized digital and physical documentation.
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous learning of new tools and drafting practices.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed drawings using Bentley MicroStation
- Interpret P&IDs, GA drawings, and engineering layouts
- Support engineers in design development and modifications
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions
- Coordinate with project teams to meet deadlines
