About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated MEP Draftsman to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will transform engineering concepts into precise technical layouts for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. You will collaborate closely with project managers and site engineers to ensure all shop drawings are accurate, clash-free, and aligned with project specifications.
- Prepare detailed2D shop drawings and schematics for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and electrical systems using AutoCAD.
- Create comprehensive coordination layouts to eliminate utility clashes before site execution.
- Revise and update existing drawings based on redline markups, client feedback, or changes observed on-site.
- Produce accurate As-Built drawings upon project completion to reflect final on-site installations.
- Assist site teams with technical clarifications regarding dimensions and material specifications.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations for material counts and equipment dimensions.
- Ensure all drafts adhere to strict company drafting standards, structural tolerances, and project timelines.
- Verify that engineering layouts align with local building safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture (required).
- 2–3 years’ experience in drafting for construction/real estate projects preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other CAD/BIM tools is a plus.
- Foundational knowledge of Revit MEP or standard BIM workflows is a highly valued advantage.
- Ability to easily read, interpret, and convert structural sketches into final schematic diagrams.
Pay: AED3,000.00 – AED5,000.00 per month
