Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman with 2–3 years of experience in kitchen equipment or commercial kitchen projects. The ideal candidate should be proficient in preparing detailed shop drawings, floor plans, and 3D visualizations. The candidate must have a strong understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) coordination and be able to produce accurate technical drawings for kitchen layouts.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for commercial kitchen equipment and layouts.
- Develop and modify floor plans based on project requirements.
- Coordinate and incorporate MEP points into kitchen layouts.
- Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings.
- Create 3D models and renderings for project presentations.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, designers, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Revise drawings based on client feedback and site conditions.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards.
- Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and revisions.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in commercial kitchen equipment, kitchen design, or kitchen fit-out projects.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment layouts and installation requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and 3ds Max.
- Good understanding of floor plan design and MEP coordination.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in commercial kitchen planning and equipment detailing.
- Knowledge of fabrication and installation processes.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
