We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar, ensuring a high level of customer service, efficient operations, and a vibrant atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for the hospitality industry, and a keen eye for business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Bar Operations: Oversee daily bar activities, including inventory management, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
Staff Supervision & Training: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise bar staff, ensuring excellent customer service.
Customer Experience: Maintain a welcoming atmosphere, handle customer inquiries, and resolve complaints professionally.
Inventory & Cost Control: Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage supplier relationships to control costs and reduce waste.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations. Maintain proper licenses and follow industry standards.
Sales & Promotions: Develop creative promotions, events, and strategies to increase revenue and attract customers.
Cash Handling & Reporting: Oversee cash management, daily sales reports, and financial records.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Bar Manager, Bartender, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of bar operations, cocktails, and beverages.
Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
Understanding of budgeting, inventory management, and cost control.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to bar operations.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in hospitality management or a related field.
Bartending certification or mixology experience.
