Draftsman – Interior Design Jobs in Doha, Qatar at Shift Group
As a Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating precise and accurate 2D design layouts using computer-aided design software. You will work closely with interior designers and project managers to translate conceptual designs into detailed plans and technical drawings. Your ability to work efficiently and accurately will play a critical role in the success of our design projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed 2D drawings for interior design projects, including floor plans, elevations, and sections.
Collaborate with interior designers to understand design concepts and project requirements.
Ensure that all drawings are accurate, up to date, and comply with project specifications and design standards.
Revise and modify drawings based on feedback from the design team and clients.
Maintain organized project files and documentation for easy access and reference.
Assist in ensuring design integrity and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
Proficient in AutoCAD (2D) and other relevant CAD software.
Proven experience as a CAD Draftsman or similar role in the interior design industry.
Strong understanding of architectural and interior design principles.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, accurate drawings.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A relevant degree or certification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is a plus.
