Job Summary:
The Draftsman is responsible for preparing engineering drawings and shop drawings for architectural and structural buildings, as well as MEP systems, landscape coordination, and interior design. The role involves producing accurate technical drawings according to required specifications, standards, and dimensions to ensure high‑quality engineering outputs.
Job Description Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive initial design sketches and discuss them with the assigned engineer to interpret and understand project requirements.
- Prepare engineering drawings, technical designs, shop drawings, and project maps for architectural, structural, landscape, interior design, and MEP works.
- Perform drafting tasks according to approved engineering principles, standards, symbols, and required scales using company-approved software.
- Review and check drawings, propose improvements or corrective actions, and submit them to the assigned engineer.
- Produce final drawings and plans based on the engineer’s instructions, print final layouts, and prepare project presentations.
- Coordinate engineering work across various disciplines, including infrastructure, space planning, electrical layouts, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Create and update Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and specifications for all engineering categories.
- Classify, index, document, organize, and archive engineering drawings, BOQs, and specifications systematically.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in image editing software such as Photoshop.
- Strong ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent command of engineering design software, including: AutoCAD Revit CGI High accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Experience: At least 7 years of experience in engineering drafting.
