Position: Document Controller – PMC (Rail UAE
We are looking for a Document Controller to manage, organize, and maintain project documentation in line with internal procedures, client requirements, and document control standards.
The role will support the PMC team by ensuring that all technical, contractual, and project documents are properly received, recorded, distributed, tracked, and archived.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing project documentation, correspondence, drawings, reports, submittals, and technical records.
- Maintain document control registers and ensure proper document numbering, revision control, and version tracking.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure timely document submission and distribution.
- Upload, retrieve, and manage documents through EDMS platforms such as Aconex, SharePoint, or similar systems.
- Ensure all documents are filed accurately and are easily accessible for audit and reporting purposes.
- Track document status, pending actions, approvals, and overdue submissions.
- Support the preparation of weekly/monthly documentation reports.
- Ensure compliance with document control procedures and project quality requirements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in document control, preferably within rail, infrastructure, construction, or PMC projects.
- Strong knowledge of EDMS platforms such as Aconex, SharePoint, Project Wise, or similar.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
