Key Responsibilities
- Manage DLP service requests assigned by the DLP Team Leader/Manager.
- Receive, record, track, and follow up on defects and snags reported by owners, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Log and route DLP defects to the main contractor and ensure proper tracking until closure.
- Prepare daily reports on service requests, defects, and DLP activities.
- Coordinate with the main contractor and Projects Team regarding defect rectification and close-out.
- Follow up regularly with contractors on outstanding DLP issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct inspections to verify the quality and completeness of rectification works.
- Verify contractor completion reports and supporting documentation before closing DLP tickets.
- Escalate unattended, delayed, disputed, or recurring defects to the DLP Team Leader/Manager.
- Maintain accurate records of outstanding and disputed snags for further review and settlement discussions.
- Communicate directly with owners/customers regarding reported issues and provide regular updates on rectification progress.
- Handle customer escalations professionally and coordinate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Use the client’s portal, CAFM system, mobile applications, and other relevant systems for snagging, inspections, tracking, and reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Management, or a related discipline.
- Diploma holders with strong relevant experience may be considered where applicable.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Handover, DLP, Defects Management, Snagging, or Post-Handover Operations.
- Experience in real estate, property development, construction, or facilities management is preferred.
- Strong experience in contractor coordination, defect tracking, snagging, inspections, and rectification verification.
- Experience dealing directly with property owners/customers is highly desirable.
Language Requirements
- Fluent in Arabic and English – mandatory.
Certifications / Additional Requirements
- HSE / Occupational Health & Safety induction certificate; site/employer-provided certification is acceptable.
- First Aid certification is preferred.
- Snagging / CAFM system training or relevant system experience is preferred. Training may be provided during mobilization if required.
