Role Overview
Our client, a global management consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Workday HCM Director to join its HR Transformation practice in Riyadh. This role focuses on leading the delivery of Workday HCM solutions across large-scale transformation programs, supporting clients in modernizing their HR functions through cloud-based technology. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving end-to-end Workday implementations, advising senior stakeholders, and leading high-performing consulting teams across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Workday HCM implementations, from design through to deployment and post-go-live support
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, guiding decision-making across HR transformation initiatives
- Oversee functional design and configuration within one or more Workday modules (e.g., Recruitment, Compensation, Absence, Security, Learning)
- Manage and mentor cross-functional project teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment with client objectives
- Collaborate with broader consulting teams to deliver integrated solutions across HR, technology, and business functions
- Contribute to business development activities, including proposal development, client presentations, and identifying growth opportunities
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 10–15+ years of professional experience, with a strong focus on HR technology and transformation programs
- Proven experience leading at least one full lifecycle Workday HCM implementation
- Workday HCM certification required; additional module certifications are advantageous
- Deep functional expertise in one or more Workday modules (Recruitment, Compensation, Absence, Security, or Learning)
- Strong understanding of HR processes and their integration with enterprise systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements, manage senior stakeholders, and deliver complex projects
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with a consulting mindset
