Job Purpose:
Direct the management of quality, health, occupational/construction safety, security, and environmental and implementation of efficient QHSE management system across ARDARA projects and ensure a monitored compliance regime.
Job-Specific Accountabilities:
Oversight & Control
- Oversee the development and documentation of quality, health, safety, security and environmental policies, standards, and procedures for development & delivery teams, in accordance with international standards, ensuring that all functions and any relevant stakeholders adhere to them.
HSE
- Lead health, safety and environment monitoring and inspection activities, and ensure that corrective actions are taken in the case of incidents and/or violations.
- Oversee the planning and implementation of employee medical and welfare practices across ARDARA construction sites to improve workers’ welfare and enhance overall efficiency.
Security
- Oversee the development of a security framework in order to monitor site access and protect facilities.
- Lead the recommendation of security procedures to ensure compliance to regulations and prevention of security hazards.
Quality Control & Assurance
- Define monitoring and control methods, verification points at different project phases, and the scope of the Quality Management System (QMS) in quality plans.
- Ensure that the QMS at ARDARA covers all aspects of construction processes and activities and that QMS is consistently communicated and effectively implemented.
- Ensure consistency of QMS with guidelines for quality plans and verify that QMS addresses the requirements of international standard ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience:
- 14 years of professional experience in complex and large-scale projects.
- Proven track record of developing and successfully implementing QHSE Management Systems within construction related organizations.
