Director of Sales at The Plaza Doha LXR Hotels & Resorts
The Plaza Doha, LXR Hotel & Resorts, located in Doha, Ad Dawḩah, Qatar, is seeking a Director of Sales to manage hotel sales and marketing strategies. The role involves developing growth initiatives, monitoring progress, and ensuring competitive positioning within the local market.
As Director of Sales, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Management Team to drive business development and expand existing accounts through various promotional efforts and sales channels. You will also be responsible for developing the sales team to achieve high performance.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing hotel sales and marketing plans to align with business objectives and focus sales efforts across market segments.
Working with senior management to identify and support targeted business activities.
Preparing contracts in accordance with current business and pricing conditions.
Monitoring offers, discounts, and options for repeat bookings, especially for groups, congresses, and seminars, in collaboration with the Group Coordinator.
Leading and developing the sales team, including hiring and coaching.
Overseeing forecasting processes with the Revenue Department to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Preparing reports such as annual and monthly forecasts, lead management, and booking reports.
Participating in the development of the annual Sales and Market Plan and hotel budgets.
Implementing strategic initiatives to adapt to market changes and competitive dynamics.
Organizing and attending sales meetings and contributing to sales and marketing initiatives.
Creating and delivering product and service information to potential and existing guests via various sales channels.
Reporting on sales activities and contributions to hotel owners and senior management monthly.
Collaborating with other departments to enhance guest experiences and sales programs.
Participating in management meetings to develop sales and marketing strategies.
