Job purpose:

• Lead the People & Capabilities function in implementing Jayasom’s strategy, culture, and people initiatives.

• Develop and manage the PEC structure, policies, and programs in line with the resort’s mission and objectives.

• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business success.

• Promote Jayasom’s wellness and sustainability culture by leading through example.

Key operational responsibilities:

• Lead all People & Capabilities functions, including talent acquisition, learning & development, engagement, compensation & benefits, performance management, succession planning, and workforce planning.

• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and strategies while ensuring compliance with corporate standards and Saudi labor laws.

• Lead the pre-opening HR critical path, recruitment strategy, onboarding, and workforce readiness.

• Partner with department leaders on recruitment, employee relations, performance management, coaching, and organizational development.

• Manage the department budget, HRIS, annual people plans, and corporate reporting.

• Oversee learning and development programs, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.

• Build relationships with educational institutions, industry partners, and external stakeholders to support talent acquisition and development.

• Ensure compliance with local legislation, shared services, outsourced providers, and all people-related operational standards.

Job requirements:

• BSc/BA in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field (preferred).

• Proven HR leadership experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, preferably with pre-opening experience.

• Strong knowledge of talent management, Saudi labor law, HR policies, and strategic human resources.

• Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, coaching, and learning & development.

• Proficiency in HRIS, workforce planning, analytics, and organizational development.

• Strong leadership, communication, relationship-building, and business partnering skills.

• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities.

• Positive, approachable, adaptable, and trustworthy with strong ethics and integrity.
