An exciting leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Nursing Leader to oversee Oncology Nursing Services within a large tertiary healthcare environment. This role carries 24-hour operational responsibility for leading nursing managers, driving clinical excellence, improving quality outcomes, and delivering strategic nursing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Oncology Nursing operations across the department.
- Develop and implement strategic and operational plans.
- Oversee budgets, workforce planning, and performance metrics.
- Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and evidence-based practice.
- Ensure compliance with international healthcare accreditation standards.
- Mentor and develop nursing leaders while fostering a high-performing culture.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care delivery.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Nursing, Health, or Allied Health (required).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with relevant specialty certification.
- Doctorate preferred.
- Current professional nursing licence.
- Minimum 11 years of post-registration clinical experience, including 5 years in senior management within a 350+ bed accredited hospital.
- Expert knowledge in Oncology Nursing with strong leadership, financial, and operational management skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
