The Role:

This role is responsible for working with other sales colleagues and internal stakeholders to drive the sales process for complex products or services in the Data Apps/KYC space. Key activities include identifying and qualifying prospects, initiating new sales activity, and managing sales cycles to closure. Additionally, the role requires the assessment of client needs and providing client-specific strategic guidance and product overviews.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed annual sales goals and targets that align with the company’s vision and objectives.

Strategically lead the Data Apps/KYC go-to-market strategy for named accounts in the Energy & Public Sector segments.

Own the development of the KYCDA business within assigned territories.

Be recognized as a market expert and provide product/service use cases during the sales cycle.

Collaborate with sales colleagues and internal stakeholders to drive the sales process from beginning to end.

Partner with Solution Specialists to develop clear, concise proposals and deliver targeted client demos that address client needs.

Provide feedback to Product Management and Product Strategy to promote improvement in product quality and the development of new revenue sources.

Build customers’ trust in Moody’s as a ‘trusted partner’ through insightful and client-specific advice leveraging market, product, and technical expertise.

Identify additional products and services from across all Moody’s businesses that clients may benefit from and introduce them appropriately into dialogue with clients.

Provide accurate, complete, and current forecasts and pipeline information to management.

This position requires travel, which could reach up to 30% of your time.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated expertise in the KYC and AML industry.

Proven track recordin selling Data Apps, KYC, or Risk intelligence and Technology.

Over 10 years of experience in direct business-to-business (B2B) sales roles, focusing on financial services and/or corporate treasury customers.

In-depth understanding of the financial services industry, including market dynamics and customers’ business drivers.

Ability to effectively present both high-level information and detailed demonstrations of products and services.

Proficient in utilizing consultative selling techniques to address client needs.

Proven ability to manage and maintain accurate pipelines from lead generation to close.
