About the Role:
The job holder leads and directs the strategic lifecycle management and operational performance of all airport-owned assets and facilities. Accountable for ensuring infrastructure reliability, safety, regulatory compliance, financial efficiency, and alignment with the Airport Masterplan, the role oversees asset management strategy, facilities operations, capital planning, and sustainability initiatives within a complex 24/7 aviation environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy and Planning
- Contribute to the development of the Airport Operations Asset and Facilities Maintenance business plan ensuring alignment with KSIA strategy
- Implement plans and provide input to enable achievement of Assets and Facilities goals that support KSIA’S overall strategic plans
Budget Management
- Discuss Assets and Facilities budgeting requirements with top management and provide input to the budgeting process
- Ensure effective utilization of the Assets and Facilities budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered
Airport Assets Management
- Develop and execute a comprehensive asset management strategy covering the full lifecycle of airport assets (planning, acquisition, operation, maintenance, renewal, and disposal)
- Align asset and facilities strategies with the airport’s master plan, capital improvement program (CIP), and long-term financial goals Actively gain exposure and insights to local market development, business opportunities and the existing regulatory landscape
- Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on infrastructure risk, performance, and investment Priorities
- Oversee day-to-day facilities management for terminals, landside and airside facilities, utilities, maintenance buildings, and administrative properties
- Ensure high standards of reliability, safety, cleanliness, and customer experience across all airport facilities.
- Lead preventative and predictive maintenance programs to maximize asset performance and minimize downtime.
Stakeholder Management
- Establish working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Collect feedback from stakeholders on issues being faced and other requirements in order to identify barriers and develop action plans
- Actively gain exposure and insights to local market development, business opportunities and the existing regulatory landscape
- Attend related forums, seminars, etc. to enrich network and learn about the latest developments and opportunities
People Management
- Participate in the identification and recruitment of key talent
- Guide, mentor and support direct reports in order to execute duties according to set policies and processes
- Develop individual performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate/appraise team and provide regular feedback on performance
- Establish a high-performance working environment and promote KSIA values
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or equivalent is required
- Master’s Degree in engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or equivalent is required
- Minimum 8 years of experience in similar role or equivalent with at least 4 years of experience in a managerial position
- Proven Experience in Assets Management
