Facility Management Engineer (FM Engineer) – Civil Engineering Maintenance

About the Role:
Uruk General Contracting & Maintenance is looking for an experienced Facility Management Engineer (FM Engineer) with a strong civil engineering background. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in Abu Dhabi, preferably with Musanada (previously) or Provis (currently), and a deep understanding of maintenance operations in schools, government buildings, and ADEC (Abu Dhabi Education Council) facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the maintenance, renovation, and repair of various facilities, ensuring work is completed on time and up to standard.
Manage and coordinate contractors, foremen, and workers to ensure efficiency and compliance with project timelines.
Ensure adherence to maintenance regulations, standards, and best practices.
Implement and follow the MSOR (Maintenance Schedule of Rates) or SOR as per Provis or Musanada guidelines.
Conduct inspections, assess maintenance needs, and provide technical recommendations.
Maintain reports, schedules, and documentation using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
Communicate effectively in both English and Arabic, ensuring clear coordination across teams.
Manage payment schedules and ensure accurate client billing for maintenance and renovation work, aligning with contract terms and MSOR/SOR rates.
Requirements:
✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
✅ Minimum 5 years of experience in Abu Dhabi, preferably with Musanada/Provis background
✅ Strong knowledge of maintenance operations for schools, government buildings, and ADEC
✅ Familiarity with MSOR/SOR rates for maintenance and renovation work
✅ Excellent project management and contractor supervision skills
✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
✅ Fluency in English and Arabic
✅ Billing and Payment schedules
