We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing civil engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet safety and quality standards. The Civil Project Engineer will work closely with project managers, design teams, contractors, and clients to ensure the successful execution of projects.

### **Key Responsibilities:**
– **Project Planning & Design:**
– Assist in the development of detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, cost estimation, and resource allocation.
– Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and documents.
– Collaborate with design teams to ensure designs meet project requirements, codes, and standards.
– **Project Management:**
– Monitor the progress of ongoing projects to ensure that deadlines are met.
– Manage and coordinate project activities and resources, ensuring all project goals and objectives are achieved.
– Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and project coordination.
– **Quality Control & Safety:**
– Ensure that construction and engineering practices comply with safety standards, regulations, and environmental guidelines.
– Conduct inspections and quality assurance checks to verify adherence to project specifications and drawings.
– Address and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies on-site.
– **Budget & Cost Control:**
– Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets.
– Monitor project expenditures and control costs to ensure the project stays within budget.
– Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management and clients.
– **Problem Solving & Reporting:**
– Identify project risks and issues early and develop strategies to mitigate them.
– Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and any changes to scope, schedule, or budget.
– Ensure accurate documentation of project details, including reports, change orders, and drawings.

### **Qualifications:**
– **Education:**
– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
– Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
– **Experience:**
– 3+ years of experience in civil engineering project management or a related field.
– Experience in infrastructure projects such as roadways, drainage, utilities, or site development.
– Familiarity with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project).
– **Skills:**
– Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and construction methods.
– Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
– Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

### **Preferred Qualifications:**
– Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
– Experience with contract administration and negotiation.
– Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
– Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
