Our Consultancy client is seeking an experienced Digital Channels Solution Architect to design end-to-end solutions across web, mobile and self-service platforms.
This is a hands‑on architecture and solution design role focused on producing implementation‑ready designs and documentation. Please note that this is not a software development position and does not involve coding or line management responsibilities.
Required Experience:
6‑10 years of overall IT experience. At least 3‑5 years of experience in solution design, application architecture or solution architecture roles. Strong experience designing solutions for web and mobile digital channels. Good architectural understanding of frontend and backend technologies. Strong knowledge of APIs, integrations and service‑based architectures. Experience with cloud‑based digital platforms. Strong documentation, communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience working within large or complex enterprise environments would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end‑to‑end digital channel architectures covering frontend platforms, backend services, integrations, APIs and cloud components
- Translate business requirements into practical, scalable and implementation‑ready solution designs
- Produce High‑Level Designs, solution diagrams, interface contracts and integration views
- Ensure alignment across frontend technologies, backend services, API layers and cloud platforms
- Design and review REST, SOAP and event‑driven integrations
- Address non‑functional requirements including performance, scalability, availability and security
- Review vendor solution designs and provide architectural guidance and feedback
- Participate in architecture and design reviews
- Maintain clear and comprehensive architecture documentation
- Work closely with business stakeholders, vendors and technical delivery teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
This is an individual contributor role focused entirely on architecture and solution design.
