About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive, self-driven Pharmacist to take ownership of our evening pharmacy operations in Dubai. This isn’t a role for someone who just wants to dispense and clock off — we need someone who can run the pharmacy with initiative, spot opportunities to improve service and sales, and genuinely drive the business forward during their shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all evening pharmacy operations independently, including dispensing, stock control, and compliance with DHA regulations
- Take ownership of the pharmacy’s performance during evening hours — identifying ways to improve patient experience, efficiency, and sales
- Counsel patients clearly on medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects
- Build strong relationships with regular customers and referring clinics
- Handle day-to-day problem-solving without needing constant oversight
- Maintain accurate records, inventory, and expiry management
- Liaise with the wider team to ensure smooth handover and continuity of care
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ pharmacy experience in Dubai (UAE experience essential)
- Valid, active DHA Pharmacist License
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent)
- Excellent communication skills in English (essential); Malay and Hindi a strong advantage
- Proven ability to work independently and take initiative — we want someone who manages the pharmacy, not just staffs it
- Strong customer service orientation and commercial awareness
- Comfortable working evening hours (4 PM – 12 AM) on a consistent basis
