About Us:
Escrow Made Easy Limited is a DFSA-regulated firm providing secure escrow and custody services in the DIFC. We are looking for an experienced Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) to oversee and enhance our AML compliance framework, ensuring full compliance with DFSA regulations and international AML/CFT standards.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced DFSA/DIFC Qualified Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory compliance within the DIFC framework, with proven experience in preparing and submitting reports to both senior management and the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in accordance with DFSA regulations.
Ensure the company’s operations are fully compliant with DIFC and DFSA requirements.
Prepare, review, and submit regular compliance reports to senior management and the DFSA.
Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely updates to internal policies and procedures.
Provide compliance advisory support to all business units.
Conduct internal compliance audits and risk assessments.
Liaise with regulatory bodies, ensuring effective communication and timely submission of required documentation.
Deliver compliance training and awareness programs to staff.
Provide oversight of the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MRLO) team, ensuring effective anti-money laundering (AML) strategies are in place.
Grow and develop the compliance team in line with the growth of the business, ensuring a safe and sustainable growth strategy.
Requirements:
DFSA/DIFC compliance qualification is mandatory.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in compliance within the DIFC.
Demonstrated experience in submitting reports to both senior management and the DFSA.
Strong knowledge of DFSA regulatory framework, rules, and guidelines.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Additional compliance certifications (e.g., ICA, ACAMS) are a plus.
