Role Description
As we prepare for launch, BurjX is looking for a Dev Ops Engineer to join our growing team. You’ll play a key role in designing and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our institutional-grade crypto trading platform. This is a remote-friendly position, though preference may be given to candidates based in the UAE or nearby regions. You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to build scalable, secure, and highly available systems, ensuring seamless deployments and optimized performance across all environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate and streamline the software development lifecycle
Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability
Collaborate with development teams to integrate deployment automation, monitoring, and logging tools into the development process
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and operational issues in containerized environments
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies
Ensure system security, compliance, and observability across environments
Requirements
4+ years of experience in Dev Ops or SRE roles in fintech or trading platforms
Proven hands-on experience managing and deploying Kubernetes clusters (both cloud and on-prem)
Deep understanding of containerization with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or CircleCI
Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or Go
Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
Nice to Have
Familiarity with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Pulumi
Exposure to microservices architectures and distributed systems at scale
Background in high-frequency trading (HFT) or low-latency infrastructure
