Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM SPSS Statistics is a powerful statistical software platform. Who you are:
As a manager, you will be responsible for developing key technical skills on the team along with day-to-day activities of running scrums, release-related work, and deliveries of the product and features. You will also be responsible for a team size of ~1-12 developers working on various capabilities from development, testing, and other aspects of product development.
What you’ll do:
Manage the team’s deliveries and team bonding. Communicate clearly on issues and challenges if any.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
12+ years of overall relevant experience, Minimum 5 years’ experience leading software development. Technical Skills – Good hold on technology like Java/J2EE, C++, and has been involved in Design, development, and Architecture of the product earlier. Experience with managing a team size of 15-20 with varied skills like developer, tester, Data Scientist. Understands Agile and Scrum Methodology of developing in iterations.
ClearCommunication Skills. Good team motivator and strong relationship building skills. Solid understanding of Software Design fundamentals. Provenproblem-solving skills. Proven working experience in an agile software development environment. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Design, implement, support and evaluate security-focused tools, vulnerability management tools and services. Conduct periodic Vulnerability assessment. Participate in incident handling and other related duties to support the information security function. Cloud Security Certifications like AWS Certified Security Specialty is preferred. Industry recognized certification (CEH) is preferred.
