Future Workplace Office Furniture Co. LLC is looking for a detail-oriented Quotation & Design Coordinator to support our sales team in preparing accurate quotations, product proposals, and client presentations for office furniture and flooring projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding client requirements, selecting suitable products from our portfolio, preparing cost estimates and quotations in Excel, and creating professional presentations that help clients visualize and evaluate proposed solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuotation Preparation (Primary Responsibility)
- Prepare detailed quotations and cost estimates using Microsoft Excel.
- Calculate project costs based on product specifications, quantities, finishes, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain pricing and product information.
- Update and maintain pricing databases and product costing sheets.
- Review quotation accuracy before submission to clients.
- Prepare revised quotations based on client feedback and value-engineering requirements.
Product Selection & Specification
- Understand client requirements and identify suitable furniture and flooring solutions.
- Recommend products from the company’s portfolio based on budget, functionality, and design requirements.
- Prepare product specifications, finish schedules, and supporting documentation.
Presentation Preparation
- Create professional client presentations using PowerPoint.
- Compile product images, specifications, finishes, and layouts into proposal documents.
- Assist in presenting furniture and flooring solutions in a clear and visually appealing manner.
Space Planning Support
- Review office layouts and floor plans provided by clients.
- Assist in furniture placement and workspace planning.
- Provide simple visualizations and layouts when required to support quotations and presentations.
Sales Support
- Work closely with the sales team to develop project proposals.
- Attend internal project meetings and coordinate proposal requirements.
- Ensure quotations and presentations are submitted within project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in office furniture, flooring, interior fit-out, or construction-related industries preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong Excel skills may also be considered.
Software Requirements
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (essential)
- Microsoft PowerPoint (essential)
- AutoCAD (preferred)
- Adobe Photoshop (preferred)
- SketchUp (advantage)
Required Skills
- Strong Excel and numerical skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to understand drawings and project requirements.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple quotations simultaneously.
- Knowledge of office furniture and flooring products is an advantage.
