The Design Manager/Technical Manager role at our agriculture and crop production company in Al Hamra, Jeddah, is pivotal in drivinginnovative designsolutions and technical strategies to enhance our agricultural practices. This position requires a blend of creativity and technical expertise to lead projects that improve crop production efficiency andsustainability. The ideal candidate will oversee design processes, manage technical teams, and ensure that all projects align with industry standards and best practices.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage design projects from conception to execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
Collaborate withcross-functional teamsto developinnovativeagricultural solutions that meet market demands.
Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and advancements in agricultural technology and design.
Oversee the technical aspects of design, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers and technical staff, fostering a culture of creativity andinnovation.
Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and regulatory bodies.
Prepare and present design proposals and technical reports tosenior managementand clients.
Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments to meet project goals.
Ensurequality controlthroughout the design process, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
Stay updated on industry developments and integrate new technologies into design practices.
Preferred Candidate:
Civil, agricultural, or landscape architect engineer qualifications.
15 years of experience in relevant fields, preferably within KSA.
Experience with Public Investment Fund (PIF) projects.
Proven experience in landscaping projects, including leading technical office teams, reviewing drawings, and conducting client meetings.
Strong technical background in agricultural engineering or related fields.
Excellentleadershipand team management skills.
Ability to think creatively and solve complex problems.
Strongcommunicationand interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in design software and tools relevant to agricultural design.
Commitment tosustainabilityand environmentally friendly practices.
