About NEOM: NEOM: A new future in KSA
The Design Manager for THE LINE Design team will oversee neighborhood master plans and architectural designs for various asset types within THE LINE Neighborhoods. The role involves managing a design consultant, ensuring design work aligns with NEOM’s plans, schedule, quality, and budget. The Senior Design Manager will be responsible for the design of a neighborhood of approximately 500,000 m of assets, driving quality assurance and compliance.
Responsibilities include:
Guiding designers and reviewing designs to meet project requirements.
Facilitating design coordination and review meetings.
Managing design aspects including real estate assets, façades, sustainability, and public realm.
Ensuring quality assurance and compliance with design KPIs and regulations.
Managing review comments, interface coordination, and design documentation.
Supporting stakeholder engagement and delivering architectural obligations.
Accountabilities:
Overseeing neighborhood-level design management.
Ensuring design quality and requirements compliance.
Collaborating with cost and risk management teams.
Maintaining design registers and producing monthly reports.
Role competencies and activities include:
Leading the delivery of THE LINE architecture and stakeholder engagement.
Managing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring design excellence.
Developing design manuals and managing technical details.
Leading design reviews and technical problem solving.
Collaborating with clients and guiding project teams.
Leadership and culture:
Delivering presentations and ensuring stakeholder engagement compliance.
Upholding NEOM’s values of honesty, integrity, and inclusivity.
Qualifications and experience:
15+ years in architectural design and management, with experience in large-scale projects.
Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or
B.Sc.), postgraduate qualification, and international accreditation preferred.
Knowledge of international standards, sustainable design, and project management.
Skills:
Excellent conceptual, design, and management skills.
Fluent in English, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Suite, with additional skills as a plus.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
