At present the RIG is working with a client who is looking for a Design Manager (Interior Designer).
The client is a while known interior and architecture firm with a strong name in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the concept development, space planning, and design execution for hospitality projects (hotels, resorts, F&B venues)
- Manage and mentor a team of interior designers and draftsmen
- Oversee the full design lifecycle from concept through to site completion
- Ensure all designs align with brand standards, operator requirements, and client expectations
- Coordinate closely with architects, consultants, contractors, and project managers
- Review and approve design drawings, FF&E selections, mood boards, and material palettes
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time and high-quality output
- Attend client meetings and presentations, acting as the key design point of contact
- Conduct site visits to ensure design intent is implemented correctly
- Stay updated with hospitality design trends, materials, and global standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Minimum 8–12 years’ experience in interior design, with a strong focus on hospitality/hotel projects
- Proven experience delivering high-end luxury hotel or resort projects
- Strong portfolio demonstrating concept to completion delivery
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or Revit
- Strong knowledge of FF&E, space planning, and material selection
- Experience working with international hotel operators/brands is highly preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
Salary expectations: 35,000 – 40,000 AED per month + medical + visa + flights.
