JOB PURPOSE
The Design Manager will lead all design activities for a prestigious Luxury Hotel Development in Fujairah, UAE, from concept through to construction and handover. The role requires close coordination with consultants, contractors, and the client to ensure design deliverables meet the technical, aesthetic, and quality standards expected of a high-end hospitality project, while remaining aligned with the approved schedule and budget.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and manage all design activities throughout the project lifecycle, from concept design through to construction and handover.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, and client requirements to ensure a fully integrated and buildable design.
• Review and approve design deliverables, drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and specifications for technical accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure design compliance with quality standards, project schedule, and approved budget.
• Identify design risks and provide practical, value-driven engineering solutions to resolve them.
• Drive innovation, sustainability, and value engineering throughout all phases of the project.
• Liaise with UAE authorities and regulatory bodies to secure design approvals and permits in a timely manner.
• Manage the design programme, ensuring milestones and deliverables are tracked and met by all consultants.
