Design Engineer – 3D Printing
We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer – 3D Printing with strong CAD skills and practical knowledge of FDM and SLA 3D printing.
Responsibilities
- Create and modify 3D models using SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar software.
- Prepare, repair, and optimize STL files for 3D printing.
- Ensure correct wall thickness, tolerances, scaling, and structural strength.
- Plan model segmentation and assembly for large-format printing.
- Operate FDM and SLA 3D printers.
- Prepare slicing settings, supports, orientation, and print parameters.
- Monitor print jobs and perform calibration, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
- Prepare technical drawings and coordinate with the production team.
- Work on prototypes, architectural scale models, acrylic projects, and custom displays.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience. Skilled freshers may also apply.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
- Knowledge of STL repair, FDM/SLA printing, and slicing software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills in English.
