The Design Director – City Design Coordination will play a pivotal role within the City Design Integration team at NEOM’s THE LINE project. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of City Design Integration, this role involves coordinating various design packages to ensure they function as a cohesive city aligned with NEOM’s vision. The position requires collaboration with multiple client and consultant teams to ensure seamless integration of all design elements.
What You’ll Do :
Collaborate closely with the Executive Director to ensure seamless integration of all design elements across the project.
Serve as the main communication hub among different design teams, including urban planners, architects, engineers, and infrastructure designers.
Lead efforts to resolve design conflicts, ensuring a cohesive and functional cityscape.
Coordinate with the wider client team to align processes, timelines, and deliverables, maintaining project schedule.
Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze design information, ensuring aesthetic and functional harmony.
Review and provide feedback on design proposals to meet innovation, sustainability, and quality standards.
Support the development of strategies to incorporate new design ideas and technologies.
Foster a collaborative and innovativework environment.
What We’re Looking For :
Extensive experience in architecture, urban planning, or related fields, especially in large-scale projects.
Exceptional communication and coordination skills, with proven conflict resolution capabilities.
Creative thinker with attention to detail and a passion for integrated city design.
Experience managing complex design processes and timelines.
