Dubai British School Jumeira is seeking to hire exceptional professionals to join the academic team for the Academic Year.
This is a rare andexcitingopportunity for suitably qualified professionals who are passionatelyinnovative, cognitively agile and committed to continual professional learning.
The Art & Design teacher that joins our team will need to have the capacity and competence to develop schemes of work in the subject areas that complement an integrated approach. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate with other secondary school colleagues to ensure that students’ understanding of the principles of design are developed in an age appropriate, contextually relevant and meaningful way in the short (lesson by lesson), medium (over course of a school year) and longer term (over the course of a key stage).
We expect that our teachers inspire a love of the subject within students that goes beyond academic success and curriculum delivery.

Skills
Highly qualified in relevant domain ofeducationto the role being applied for (Art or Design)
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
At least two years teaching experience
A proven record of consistent inspirational teaching and learning
Knowledge and understanding of monitoring student learning and adaptable/responsive teaching methods to support ongoing growth of students
A commitment to the wellbeing of all students
An understanding of, and dedication to the broader school life
The ability to adapt quickly to afast-pacedinternational, multicultural, and demanding environment
