Job Summary
We are urgently hiring a skilled Snack Cook for a restaurant in Sharjah. The ideal candidate should have experience preparing a variety of Desi snacks, street food items, and fast-food dishes while maintaining high standards of taste, quality, presentation, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of snacks, street food, and fast-food items according to restaurant standards.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
- Prepare ingredients and maintain mise en place for daily operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Follow food safety procedures and proper storage practices.
- Monitor stock levels and minimize food wastage.
- Work efficiently during busy service hours and ensure timely order preparation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Snack Cook, Fast Food Cook, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Desi snacks and street food preparation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Immediate availability preferred.
Menu Expertise Required
- Experience preparing a variety of Desi street food, snacks, and fast-food items, including chaat varieties, samosas, kachori, pakora, spring rolls, pav bhaji, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, fries, and beverages such as karak tea, coffee, lassi, and fresh juices.
