Responsibilities
Examine patients and assess skin conditions
Review and update patients’ medical history and document symptoms
Diagnose dermatological conditions based on clinical findings and diagnostic tests
Prescribe medications and recommend therapies, including topical, oral, and other treatment options
Perform minor procedures as required by scope of practice
Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust plans when necessary
Educate patients on skincare, sun protection, and prevention strategies
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Stay current with advances in dermatology and evidence-based treatment approaches
Qualifications
Medical degree (MD/DO) or equivalent
Dermatology board certification / specialist registration
Strong clinical knowledge of dermatology conditions
Experience with patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up
Excellent communication skills and patient-centered care
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Comfort with EMR/health records systems
