Position : Deputy Quality Manager – Testing

Areas of Responsibility
Responsible for final testing, electrical laboratories, non-electrical laboratories, and fire laboratory.
Responsible for final testing and laboratories team and their motivation.
Ensure that testing areas are safe for work and report any unsafe conditions.
Ensure that all laboratory equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
Ensure that testing is conducted as per the latest standards and customer requirements.
Ensure that all test work instructions are updated with safety and standards requirements.
Provide continuous feedback to production regarding testing results.
Responsible for raising and following up on any non-conformities that occur.
Ensure that all cables are released in the system after testing.
Prepare the weekly test planning.
Responsible for continuous upgrades for Faraday cage and field tests.
Ensure that FAT, ITP & QCP are prepared and followed as per customer requirements.
Check the Technical Data Sheet for comments.
Prepare Technical Test Plan for Physical and Electrical Lab according to the required standards (IEC, BS, ASTM & UL).
Issue all test reports.
Follow up on any sales requests: samples, qualification files.
Responsible for any inspection requested by Kahramaa at the company or at KM WHS.
Conduct TPI & FAT in the presence of customers.
Handle any customer claims by conducting site visits and proposing technical solutions.
Follow up on customer clarifications.
Perform any other related activities as may be assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Graduate of Electrical Engineering course with a minimum of 7-10 years of work-related experience.
Shows strong initiative and adaptability to change.
Capability to understand customers’ requirements and constraints (internally and externally).
Capability to perform all routine, sample, and type tests for LV, MV & HV cables.
Capability to understand international standards.
Capability to objectively assess the degree of compliance to a referential or standard for a process or activity.
