Deputy Manager – QC (Electrical) Jobs in Tanzania at Ascentis
> Conduct on-site quality inspections for all electrical and ELV works implementing QC procedures (ITPs, MIRs, WIRs) in line with project standards.
> Monitor and ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, codes, and standards
> Ensure early validation of all electrical reservations, sleeves, and openings in RC works, coordinating closely with civil/structural teams to prevent clashes, rework, or structural modifications.
> Monitor installation and quality of electrical systems including LV/MV, switchgear, cabling, and ELV systems.
> Support inspection and testing of high-side equipment (generators, transformers, switchgear).
> Address durability risks of electrical systems in tropical maritime conditions, including corrosion protection, waterproofing of shafts, condensate management, and electrical reliability.
> Inspect and verify earthing and bonding systems to ensure compliance with international standards, operator requirements, and safety codes, with particular focus on corrosion protection in a tropical maritime climate.
> Inspect materials delivered to the site for compliance with approved Material Approval Requests (MARs) and technical specifications.
> Maintain inspection records, test results, NCRs, and corrective actions, and consolidate into monthly quality reports with recommendations for improvement.
> Participate in client, consultant, and internal quality review meetings to align QA/QC requirements.
> Assist in training site staff on best practices for construction quality control.
