Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Deputy Construction Manager / Construction Manager (Facade) to lead and manage facade construction activities for high-rise building projects. The role is responsible for ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards, contract requirements, and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all facade construction activities from planning through project completion.
- Manage site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and construction teams to achieve project milestones.
- Develop and monitor construction schedules, manpower plans, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with project management, consultants, architects, clients, and other trades to ensure seamless execution.
- Ensure all facade works comply with approved drawings, QA/QC standards, HSE regulations, and contractual requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to avoid delays.
- Review technical issues, method statements, and construction methodologies, providing solutions when required.
- Conduct site meetings, monitor project budgets, and prepare progress reports for senior management.
- Support testing, inspections, project handover, and close-out activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Deputy Construction Manager: Minimum 11+ years of experience in facade construction, including leadership on high-rise projects.
- Construction Manager: Minimum 13+ years of experience managing large-scale facade works for high-rise residential or commercial developments.
- Strong knowledge of curtain wall systems, unitized facades, aluminium glazing, ACP cladding, and facade installation methodologies.
- Proven experience in project planning, team leadership, subcontractor management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Excellent understanding of QA/QC procedures, HSE standards, construction sequencing, and project delivery.
- Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- UAE/GCC experience in delivering high-rise facade projects is highly preferred.
Pay: AED13,000.00 – AED15,000.00 per month
