Escalator Technician:
Responsibilities:
Operate and control the movement of escalators in a safe manner
Perform regular preventive maintenance.
Perform regular inspections of escalators for any malfunctions or potential hazards
Monitor and adhere to the schedule for maintenance and cleaning of escalators
Assist individuals who require help when using the escalator, such as the elderly, disabled, or those with strollers
Communicate with maintenance personnel and report any issues or malfunctions that need to be addressed
Follow company policies and procedures related to escalator operation and safety.
Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner.
Requirements:
Experience in operating escalators and knowledge of safety protocols
Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods of time
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to do troubleshoot and perform maintenance on escalators
Knowledge of emergency procedures and ability to respond quickly in case of accidents
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing schedules
High school diploma or equivalent education
