Job Purpose

What
will your main responsibilities be
This role works for Unilever Food Solutions and Nutrition category, managing the demand planning operation. As a Demand Planning Manager you will stand at the heart of the S&OP process, working closely with customer development, marketing and sourcing teams to build an integrated volume and sales plan. You will be the owner of the volume forecast for short, mid and long‑term periods, managing short‑term demand‑supply risks proactively within the unit.
Main
responsibilities of the role are
- Improve SC performance by defining and rolling out leading‑edge and harmonized demand planning processes and tools to deliver business targets—service, inventory, waste and forecast accuracy.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across cross‑functional teams, business units and groups.
- Act as a strong business partner with all key stakeholders to maintain trust and add value.
- Generate sustainable solutions to overcome operational challenges and support business growth in collaboration with business teams.
- Lead supply chain disruption and shortage interventions by ensuring respected safety stock.
- Support marketing and I&P teams through innovation and simplification agenda.
- Manage inventory while ensuring maximum service level & availability.
- Minimise business waste risk by actively managing over‑ and residual inventory.
- Endorse future‑fit planning processes by increasing variety of inputs for no‑touch planning and improving adoption of no‑touch forecasting.
What you will need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/operations or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience (typically 4+ years) in supply chain planning, operations or related roles; local experience is crucial.
- Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead cross‑functional teams effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Skills in collaboration, stakeholder management, change driving, solution generation, and out‑of‑the‑box thinking.
- Leadership for proactive management and communication of business opportunities and risks.
- Business acumen with planning experience, digital thinking, agile and data‑driven decision making.
- Excellent Turkish and English communication skills, both written and verbal.
