Delivery Supervisor Jobs in Dubai at Sense Concepts
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute the commissioning, testing, and start-up of electrical systems in power plants.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure proper installation and operation.
Conduct pre-commissioning and functional testing of electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, generators, and protection systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during commissioning activities.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and project specifications.
Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, operations, and project teams to ensure seamless commissioning.
Prepare and submit commissioning reports, test procedures, and documentation.
Train and guide operational staff on system operation and maintenance.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in electrical commissioning, preferably in power plants or energy projects.
Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, electrical protection, and control systems.
Hands-on experience with testing tools (relay testers, insulation testers, multimeters, etc.).
Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, etc.).
Ability to work in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Willingness to travel and work on-site during commissioning phases.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with combined-cycle power plants, thermal, or renewable energy projects.
Knowledge of SCADA, PLC, and automation systems in power plants.
Certification in Electrical Commissioning, High Voltage Switching, or Protection Systems is a plus.
