Job Responsibilities:
Safely operate various types of vehicles, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of passengers or goods.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Plan and navigate routes using GPS and maps to optimize travel time and avoid delays.
Handle loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring proper securing of items to prevent damage.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, maintaining a clean driving record to promote safety.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues to ensure operational readiness.
Desired Candidate Profile:
High school diploma or equivalent, with a valid driver’s license relevant to the vehicle type.
Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience in a similar role or industry.
Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations, especially in urban environments.
Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus to serve diverse clients.
Proficient in using GPS and navigation apps to enhance route efficiency.
Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks, including lifting heavy items.
Dependable and punctual, with a strong commitment to maintaining schedules and meeting deadlines.
