Job Overview:
To coordinate and optimize delivery operations to ensure timely, efficient, and compliant order fulfillment within company policies and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to company policies and safety procedures, creating a secure and efficient working environment for delivery operations.
- Monitor and ensure driver compliance with truck checklists, government regulations, and company policies to maintain quality standards and governance.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams for delivery scheduling, customer requirements, and special delivery conditions.
- Supervise and track all delivery drivers, ensuring timely and successful deliveries while addressing any potential delays or issues.
- Ensure Proof of Delivery (POD) collection, security, scanning, and uploading into SAP, maintaining accurate delivery records.
- Maintain and share updated POD reports with the line manager, finance, and transportation teams, ensuring timely updates and accuracy.
- Process all related system transactions and shipment creation accurately within the system to ensure proper tracking and reporting.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance for both outsourced and internally managed fleets, maintaining service agreements and transportation records.
- Arrange and manage daily transportation resources, including scheduling vehicles from outsourced contractors as per delivery requirements.
- Monitor and execute third-party logistics (3PL) transportation and supplier-related transportation activities for branch and shuttling operations.
- Execute and strictly adhere to the daily delivery plan, ensuring on-time deliveries to customers while optimizing resource utilization.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in delivery operations and collaborate with Sales and Warehouse teams to enhance customer service and efficiency.
- Track and ensure departmental KPIs (cost control, fleet utilization, truck occupancy, refusal rates, etc.), reporting and addressing performance gaps.
- Support team development through ongoing training, coaching, and one-on-one feedback, enhancing their skills and operational effectiveness.
- Identify training needs and ensure continuous skill development for team members to boost performance and service quality.
Communicate and cascade company strategies and KPIs to the team, ensuring awareness, accountability, and alignment with business goals.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any related field (preferably)
- 1-2 Years of Experience
- Knowledge of Transportation
- Basics in Microsoft Office
