Job Overview:
We are seeking a Debt Collection Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in debt collection, particularly in business-to-business (B2B) accounts, and will be responsible for managing commercial debts, maintaining positive client relationships, and navigating complex collection processes. This role requires a detail-oriented and results-driven individual who can efficiently recover debts while adhering to international best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
B2B Debt Collection: Handle the collection of overdue accounts from businesses, ensuring timely recovery while adhering to international best practices and regulations.
Client Liaison: Maintain communication with clients, updating them on collection progress and resolving any issues or disputes.
Account Analysis: Review and analyze delinquent accounts, identify trends, and develop strategies for more efficient collections.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all collection efforts, including communications with debtors, payment agreements, and dispute resolutions.
Legal Support: Work with legal teams to understand and implement proper procedures for legal collections, when necessary, across the UAE and international territories.
Reporting: Provide regular reports on collections performance, outstanding balances, and strategies for improving recovery rates.
Requirements:
Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in debt collection, preferably with a focus on B2B collections. Experience in international debt collection is a strong plus.
Skills:
Strong understanding of debt collection regulations, particularly within the UAE and international legal frameworks.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to manage difficult conversations and recover debts professionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with international debt collection agencies or law firms.
Established network within the UAE financial services industry.
Multilingual abilities (Arabic, French, etc.) are a plus.
