Bordo Mavi is looking for a talented and motivated Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) with experience in Mediterranean cuisine to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Partie in managing a designated kitchen section
- Prepare and cook Mediterranean dishes according to standard recipes
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
- Handle daily mise en place and food preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Follow food safety and HACCP guidelines
- Support smooth kitchen operations during service
- Monitor stock levels and minimize wastage
- Work collaboratively with the team
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience as DCDP or Commis I in Mediterranean cuisine
- Knowledge of Turkish, Greek, or Levantine dishes preferred
- Experience in high-volume or casual dining restaurants
- Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment
- Basic English communication skills
