Technical/Core Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide technical assistance and guidance for designing, implementing, and optimizing database solutions to support Sehati's operations and strategic objectives.
- Install, configure, and maintain database management systems.
- Monitor database performance and optimize queries and indexing to ensure high performance and availability.
- Implement and enforce data security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Perform regular backups and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Design and implement database schemas, tables, views, and stored procedures.
- Develop and maintain database scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks in the database systems.
- Optimize database configuration and queries to enhance performance.
- Plan and manage database capacity to accommodate future growth.
- Implement strategies to ensure database scalability and efficient resource utilization.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and procedures.
- Utilize clustering, replication, and other techniques to ensure high availability of database systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.
- Collaborate with developers, IT staff, and end-users to resolve database problems.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, processes, and policies.
- Generate reports on database performance, security, and usage.

- Proficiency with various Database Management Systems (DBMS).
- Skills in database installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Experience with database programming, including stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
- Ability to optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and resource management.
- Skills in monitoring and analyzing database performance metrics.
- Expertise in designing and implementing backup and recovery strategies.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and high availability solutions.
- Understanding of database security best practices to protect data integrity and privacy.
- Experience in implementing access controls, encryption, and auditing.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining detailed documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively interact with a range of people.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer information system, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent.
- Preferred master's degree in business. computer information system, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent.
- Professional qualification OCP (Oracle Certified Professional) is preferred.
Minimum Experience:
- 4 years of experience in a similar field.
