Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to manage, maintain, secure, and optimize enterprise database environments as part of a managed-services technical engagement in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade database systems.
- Monitor database performance, availability, storage, and capacity.
- Perform backup, recovery, disaster recovery testing, and database security management.
- Troubleshoot database issues, optimize queries, and perform performance tuning.
- Support application teams during deployments and production changes.
- Manage high availability, clustering, and replication configurations.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
- Strong experience with Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, or enterprise database platforms.
- Hands-on experience in backup/recovery, performance tuning, patching, and security.
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Database certifications are a plus.
- Transferable Iqama or valid Saudi work authorization preferred.
Pay: ﷼12,000.00 – ﷼20,000.00 per month
