. We are a recruitment agency based in Qatar owned by The AL JABER GROUP with almost 30,000 employees. We have been in the recruitment industry for nearly 10 years and we provide manpower needs from labours up to the highest positions as per our client’s needs.
Our company provides quality and qualified workers from India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Pakistan, Ghana,
and Kenya.
We have enough manpower pool for all categories from senior level to administration staff, different kinds of drivers and operators, including skilled and unskilled workers for construction companies to hospitality & services and oil & gas companies.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
Leading and executing sourcing strategies to attain targets.
Directing and overseeing the organisation’s purchasing functions.
Negotiating large purchase contracts and ensuring best terms and conditions.
Developing policies related to procurement of goods and services.
Reducing the number of suppliers and ensuring cross functional total cost of ownership supplier offer selection.
Analysing categories of spend to determine potential opportunities regarding cost optimisation.
Ensuring compliance with commercial / technical requirements.
Coaching, motivating and developing team members and ensuring high operational standards.
Building the sales funnel generating leads via cold calling, emailing and other lead generation activities.
Handling incoming queries and building good client relationships.
Ensuring all leads are well qualified by identifying the correct decision makers and understanding their requirements.
Handing over qualified leads to the sales teams with the objective of closing the sale.
Maintaining and updating the lead generation database.
Achieving weekly / monthly targets as set out by the business.
Managing a team of 1-5 people.
Ideal Profile
You have at least 3 years experience within a Buying / Procurement or Inside Sales / Sales Development Representative role, ideally within the FMCG and Hospitality industry.
You have a proven track record of meeting / exceeding your targets.
You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
You possess excellent negotiating skills with a strong ability to influence people of all levels.
You are a strong networker & relationship builder.
You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard.
You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders.
